For a nearly 2 hour wait, I expected the food to be good... and it was good. But not 2 hours good. 6 cars behind us pulled away while we waited. There was no communication about a wait. I didn't want to be that guy and leave, so I stuck it out. The food was hot and the serving sizes are quite generous for the cost. But they almost gave me the wrong food, then almost forgot the kids' drinks with the meals we ordered, and then they DID forget the meal I ordered for my wife, which was the major reason we wanted to give them a try. This wasn't a good first impression. I thought all the times I drove by that the lines were long because of the popularity of the place, not short staffing a 24 hour business. You're not saving money this way, you're over working your employees and literally driving away customers. I might give them another shot during the day, but clearly going at night was a mistake. Had I waited so long and the food was exceptional, or there was something to call customer service, maybe it would be okay, but to wait so long and still not receive my full order, especially since it was a whole entree... it just stings.
Sometimes they mess up the type of burrito we ordered and the line could get really long for the drive through. I had to wait for 30 minutes one time around 1 AM. Great food for the price though, so I'll give them 5 out of 5. 6 bucks for a large burrito that fills you up. Fun fact, this is actually a local joint started in Boise Idaho (has nothing to do with California). This should actually be called Idaho Mexican Food?
Cooks or food preps don't even look at receipt for order. They just whip it together and call it good. Not happy! Mentioned 5-10 times that I didn't want something on my burrito, and the lady even says it isn't on there. Get home, and it's on there! Also, the potatoes in the burrito were still crunchy raw.
I love this place more than any other!! Best salsa bar, spicy carrot, marinated onion with ???? ????️, and so reasonable. Always ate there everyday during Covid and working from home. Also the deep fried ice cream is good . I've actually ordered everything on the menu. My 12 year old loves bean burrito. Kids meal.
First time to try this place out. I, actually, ordered the fish taco value meal (one fish soft taco, tortilla chips, pico de gallo, and green salsa). For $4.26 plus tax, it was a pretty good meal. The menu is quite sizable so it'll take a few more visits to make a "full" assessment. ???? But I'd say it was a good start. See you guys again, soon.
